Delivery Information

ll items will be sent via Australia Post Express or Toll Priority Overnight satchels unless otherwise advised. We will ship within Australia, but take no responsibility for any items rejected by quarantine restrictions imposed by your specific state (Tasmania is an example). You will be provided the available shipping options during check out.

Items will generally be sent between Monday and Wednesday after payment has cleared. There are circumstances where the items may not be shipped on time as a result of weather conditions at our end that may negatively impact the survival rate of our items.  NOTE: Some stock may have specific delivery windows specified if stock is not yet ready to the shipped.  Where a delivery window is specified well in advance of your order, you will be required to pay for the stock in advance in order to secure the stock that you have selected. Should there be any issue with that particular item prior to shipping, we may offer to refund or provide you a credit for the same amount to be used for another item.


Buyers should ensure that they are within the Australia Post Express Post Next Day Delivery Network - http://auspost.com.au/business/express-post-delivery-network.html to ensure that they will be able to receive their items in a timely manner if selecting Australia Post Express as a shipping option. Toll Priority provide a "best effort" service, but some non-metro/non-major areas may not form part of their "overnight" network.


All shipping is at the risk of the buyer - Loony's Frags nor its owner is responsible for the items once they leave our premises. Due to the nature of sending live stock through the post, there are always a number of risks that may negatively affect the stock. We will do what we can to give the stock every reasonable chance possible to survive its journey, but we aren't responsible for the weather, poor treatment in transit, the package sitting out in the elements all day while you're at work, or any myriad of other possibilites that might adversely affect your corals.  We will "dry ship" (otherwise known as "damp shipping") corals suited to this kind of shipping as it has been a quite successful method of shipping compared to other alternatives, and this will allow us to ship a lot more frags in a single order than we could if we had to bag stock and send it in water.


Australia Post: Australia Post delivery drivers may leave satchels at your door, letter box or another place that they believe is suitably appropriate, or they may leave a calling card and require you to collect from the nearest Post Office.


Toll Priority: As part of our arrangements with Toll Priority, your satchel will have a "No Signature Required" label attached to it. This is necessary to allow the driver to leave the item at a suitable location at your supplied delivery address if there is no one home to accept it. By selecting a Toll Priority shipping option, you acknowledge that the items will be left at your premises if no one is available to accept the delivery.


If you require a signature on delivery, please contact us - deliveries requiring a signature through Toll Priority are liable for redelivery and return to base fees if they are not accepted when the driver attempts to make the first delivery, so we will need to ask for an additional $17 prior to shipping. If the delivery is successful on the drivers first attempt, we'll be happy to either refund that fee or provide it as a credit towards your next purchase. If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful that fee will not be refunded. If a second attempt is unsuccessful, we may request Toll Priority return the package to us.


Returned to Sender items: If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, and the package was correctly addressed with the address details provided by you (eg: you provided the incorrect address or you have requested a signature on delivery, but did not accept the package on the second delivery attempt), we may provide a partial refund. The package contents will be assessed to determine if any stock has perished due to the extended time in transit. Any refunds in this situation will have deductions for: the value of any perished or no-longer-fit-for-sale items, any additional incurred fees incurred as a result of the items being sent to us, and a $20 recovery fee in the event we need to collect from either Toll Priority or Australia Post. Any stock returned to us in this manner will be considered our property.
